Best Golf Courses near Columbia Falls

The Columbia Falls, Montana area has some of the best golf courses you'll find in the Northwest. All in all, our area has nine courses within an hour's drive. We've listed some of our favorite courses in this area, but many other excellent golf courses are also nearby. Meadow Lake Golf Course

  • Address: 490 St Andrews Dr, Columbia Falls, MT 59912
  • Hours: Daily, 7:00 a.m until 7:00 p.m.
  • Distance from us: 2.9 miles


Located at Meadow Lake Golf Resort, Meadow Lake Golf Course is an 18-hole, par-72 course. Length is 6703 yards. Rating is 71.7. The course has perfectly groomed fairways and greens and fantastic views of Glacier National Park and the Rocky Mountains. Meadow Lake Golf Course is considered one of Montana's finest courses and receives consistently high ratings by major golf publications.

Amenities include a PGA gold shop and an onsite restaurant, the Eagles Nest Bar and Bistro, where you can enjoy breakfast and lunch. They also serve a variety of beverages. Meadow Lake also has a driving range and practice greens. 

Buffalo Hill Golf Course

  • Address: 1176 N Main St, Kalispell, MT
  • Hours: Daily, 7:00 a.m until 10:00 p.m.

Buffalo Hill Golf Course, close to downtown Kalispell, Montana, has a total of 27 holes of golf for you to enjoy. The "championship" course is 18 holes, par 72. Length is 6584 years. Rating is 77.2. The course features push-up greens and lengthy tree-lined fairways. Buffalo Hill Golf Course also has the Cameron course, a 9-hole course adjacent to the 18-hole course.

Buffalo Hill Golf Course is arguably Flathead Valley's most popular course. And it's easy to see why: A great course with great views, and a great practice facility that include four target greens and actual bunkers that realistically mimic course conditions. You also get panoramic views of the northwest Rocky Mountains and scenic Flathead Valley. If you get a chance, you'll definitely want to give this course a try.

Northern Pines Golf Course

  • Address: 2 US-93, Kalispell, MT
  • Hours: Daily, 9:00 a.m. until 3:00 p.m. (longer hours on Sunday)
  • Distance from us: 15.4 miles


Northern Pines Golf Course is an 18-hole, par-72 course located just north of Kalispell, Montana. Length is 7015 yards. Rating is 72.5. Northern Pines is regularly rated as one of Montana's top 10 golf courses by Golf Digest. The course has a blend of tree-lined fairways and fairways located along rolling meadows. A number of holes on the back 9 run along scenic Stillwater River. The course also includes a number of sand traps, doglegs, and holes near large lakes.

Besides the course, Northern Pines Golf Club has a well-stock pro shop and a deli. You can also take advantage of the site's practice range, putting green, and and chipping green.

Village Greens Golf Course

  • Address: 500 Palmer Dr, Kalispell, MT
  • Hours: Daily, 8:00 a.m until 3:00 p.m.
  • Distance from us: 14.7 miles


Village Greens Golf Course is an 18-hole, par-70 course located in Kalispell, Montana. Length is 6401 yards. Rating is 69.3. The Village Greens course features bent-grass greens, sparkling lakes, and fantastic views of the surrounding mountains. This is a great course for all skill levels.

Village Greens also has a PGA golf shop with a wide selection of golf equipment, as well as a driving range, a chipping green, and a large practice green. They also have an onsite restaurant, Lum's 19th Hole and Deli, where you can enjoy a sandwich and beverage.
